Lamentations 3:19-23  (NKJV)

19 Remember my affliction and roaming,
The wormwood and the gall.

22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.

1. Seek God.


2. Fight Fair.


3. Have Fun.


4. Stay Pure.


5. Never Give Up.


6. Choose Life.




Deuteronomy 30:19-20  (NIV)

19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life... 


1. Life-giving relationships look to God as the source of their life.


2. Life-giving relationships happen when two of God's  servants are in love.


3. Live-giving relationships make the choice to love every day.


Don't leave it up to people to make you happy. Only God can make you happy!  God is your only real source of love. 

Have Fun.

Ecclesiastes 9:9  (NLT)

9 Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that God has given you under the sun. The wife God gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil.


1. Emotionally - Women need conversation.


2. Physicaliy - Activities like bowling etc..


3.  Spiritually - Share a spiritual heritage together.

3 Brothers and sisters, you are holy partners in a heavenly calling. So look carefully at Jesus, the apostle and chief priest about whom we make our declaration of faith.

Uneducated but Useful

During a Jewish festival in Jerusalem, Jesus shook up the religious establishment of His day when He had the gall to go into THEIR temple and preach (John 7:14).  With Jesus having NO formal training, they were aghast that He would do such a thing! Later, Peter and John stirred up the hornet’s nest AGAIN by doing exactly the same thing (Acts 4:13). How DARE they? Those guys are “uneducated and common men”   they snarled until they finally hung their heads. Because THEN they suddenly realized, those guys KNEW Jesus.  ASK, why would God put His own Son through the school of hard knocks by filling His hands with blisters and splinters?  Couldn’t God just put Him through the best religious institution? You know He could. ASK why did Jesus’ eyes squint through the Sun’s blinding reflection on those choppy waters while looking for those hard working fishermen? Too earthly minded. No heavenly good.

"Pursue the things over which Christ presides.  Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you.  Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that's where the action is.  See things from his perspective. (Col. 3:2 MSG)" Reality includes a loving God who is watching you and over you in heaven. When you forget that fact, that's when the problems within your temporal world delude your life.  If you don't walk in this truth, it is a symptom of unbelief, and pulls you out of a right relationship with God.  Here's a way to determine if your walking in faith or unbelief.  Ask am I thinking from heaven to earth, or from earth to heaven?
