Two minds in one person

Consider being cornered into hopeless situations as opportunities to ultimately celebrate. 

Because the exercising of your faith strengthens your loyalty to God, 

and let your absolute loyalty to Him mature YOU so that YOU will be a mature individual, 

a person of character, 

and finally then and only after then. God will rescue you. 

If anyone needs to see God’s strategy in personal development through tests, 

just ask Him 

to adjust your thinking. 

God wants you to see things as He sees them, 

and won’t make you feel stupid for asking. 

He will help you reset your mind to the way He sees things. 

God puts character first before needs, and so must you. 

If you keep switching view points between yours and His, 

you’ll never get anything from God. 

To receive from God, allow Him to remold your character, and then and only then will He save you. (James 1:2-7)

During a Jewish festival in Jerusalem, Jesus shook up the religious establishment of His day when He had the gall to go into THEIR temple and preach (John 7:14).  With Jesus having NO formal training, they were aghast that He would do such a thing! Too earthly minded. No heavenly good.

"Pursue the things over which Christ presides.  Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you.  Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that's where the action is.  See things from his perspective. (Col. 3:2 MSG)" Reality includes a loving God who is watching you and over you in heaven. When you forget that fact, that's when the problems within your temporal world delude your life.  If you don't walk in this truth, it is a symptom of unbelief, and pulls you out of a right relationship with God.  Here's a way to determine if your walking in faith or unbelief.  Ask am I thinking from heaven to earth, or from earth to heaven?
